Austin Catholic Crusaders (Chesterfield, MI) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit Jaguars (West Bloomfield, MI), 58-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Austin Catholic upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Crusaders host Detroit Cristo Rey (Detroit, MI) to clash with the WOLVES in a Catholic Intersectional II bout on Friday, February 2. The WOLVES go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Detroit Cristo Rey won 61-25 in their recent league bout against Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit (West Bloomfield, MI)

Next up, the Jaguars clash with the Cabrini Monarchs (Allen Park, MI) in a Catholic Intersectional II bout, on Thursday, February 1. Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Monarchs go into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 85-58 non-league loss to Summerfield (Petersburg, MI).
