In Wednesday's league outing, the Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders (Altoona, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Bald Eagle Area Bald Eagles (Wingate, PA), by a count of 81-47.

The Marauders (13-3) will now prepare for their outing against Bishop McCort (Johnstown, PA). The Crushers go into the Laurel Highlands outing with a 9-8 record. In their last outing, Bishop McCort was crushed by Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA), 68-42, in a league outing.

The Bald Eagles now hold a 8-10 record. They play next when they travel to Chestnut Ridge for a Laurel Highlands outing on Friday, February 2. Bald Eagle Area will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 87-34 league win over Somerset (Somerset, KY). The Lions record now stands at 15-3.
