Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Kanab Cowboys (Kanab, UT) and the visiting Beaver Beavers (Beaver, UT), saw Kanab's basketball squad knock off Beaver by a tally of 53-45.

With the victory, Kanab improves its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Enterprise (Enterprise, UT) to play the Wolves in a 2A Region 18 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 15-5. Enterprise won 82-68 in their recent league challenge against South Sevier (Monroe, UT)

Next up, the Beavers play the Parowan Rams (Parowan, UT) in a 2A Region 18 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Beaver will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 5-14 record after their 61-42 league win over Water Canyon (Hildale, UT).
