The Boylan Catholic Titans basketball team (Rockford, IL), was nudged 51-48 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Jefferson J-Hawks (Rockford, IL)

The J-Hawks now possess a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Belvidere North for a Northern Illinois 10 battle on Friday, February 2. Jefferson will confront a Blue Thunder team coming off a 56-39 league loss to Rockford Auburn (Rockford, IL). The Blue Thunder record now stands at 18-8.

The Titans (9-15) will now prepare for their battle against Hononegah (Rockton, IL). The Indians come into the Northern Illinois 10 battle with a 8-14 record. In their last battle, Hononegah was nudged by Rockford East (Rockford, IL), 65-52, in a league battle.
