KIPP Delta (Helena, AR) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Carlisle Bison (Carlisle, AR), 69-44 in a league bout.

With the win, KIPP Delta upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The travel to Hazen (Hazen, AR) to play the Hornets in a 2A Region 6 bout on Friday, February 2. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 0-15. Hazen lost 70-64 in their recent non-league bout against Clarendon (Clarendon, AR)

Next up, the Bison play the Palestine-Wheatley Patriots (Palestine, AR) in a 2A Region 6 bout, on Friday, February 2. Carlisle will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 9-12 record after their 68-66 league loss to Barton (Lexa, AR).
