In Wednesday's league outing, the Lakeview Charter Lions (Sylmar, CA) basketball squad beat the host CHAMPS Panthers (Van Nuys, CA), by a count of 53-43.

The Lions (11-13) will now prepare for their outing against Triumph Charter (Sylmar, CA). The Jaguars go into the North Valley outing with a 22-4 record. In their last outing, Triumph Charter defeated Bert Corona Charter (Pacoima, CA), 97-24, in a league outing.

The Panthers now hold a 7-8 record. They play next when they host Community Charter for a North Valley outing on Friday, February 2. CHAMPS will clash with a Titans squad coming off a 60-50 league win over Valley Oaks CES (Sun Valley, CA). The Titans record now stands at 8-10.
