The Clear Spring Blazers basketball team (Clear Spring, MD), was overwhelmed 67-46 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD)
The Miners now possess a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Walsh for a non-league battle on Friday, February 2. Mountain Ridge will battle a Spartans team coming off a 65-55 league loss to Hancock (Hancock, MD). The Spartans record now stands at 1-8.
The Blazers (1-13) will now prepare for their battle against Brunswick (Brunswick, MD). The Railroaders come into the CMC battle with a 2-15 record. In their last battle, Brunswick was overwhelmed by Walkersville (Walkersville, MD), 45-39, in a league battle.
