In Wednesday's league outing, the Cristo Rey Royals (Richmond, VA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Life Christian Academy Eagles (Chester, VA), by a margin of 60-54.
The Royals (11-13) will now prepare for their outing against Veritas School (Richmond, VA). The Lions go into the VISAA Division III outing with a 4-11 record. In their last outing, Veritas School was tipped by Grace Christian School (Mechanicsville, VA), 72-47, in a non-league outing.
The Eagles now own a 4-12 record. They play next when they travel to Evergreen Christian for a Freelance outing on Friday, February 2. Life Christian Academy will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 72-60 league loss to Fairfax Christian (Dulles, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 19-8.
