California High School Basketball - Oak Grove can't hold off Evergreen Valley

The Evergreen Valley Cougars basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the host Oak Grove Eagles to 46 in the Cougars league victory on Wednesday.
The Cougars now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Santa Teresa for a Blossom Valley - Mt. Hamilton contest on Friday, February 2. Evergreen Valley will battle a Saints team coming off a 70-66 league win over Branham (San Jose, CA). The Saints record now stands at 16-5.
The Eagles (9-11) will now prepare for their contest against Christopher (Gilroy, CA). The Cougars come into the Blossom Valley - Mt. Hamilton contest with a 8-11 record. In their last contest, Christopher was nudged by Leigh (San Jose, CA), 71-69, in a league contest.
