The Manchester Greyhounds basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Fayetteville-Perry Rockets to 51 in the Greyhounds league triumph on Wednesday.

The Greyhounds now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Whiteoak for a Southern Hills contest on Friday, February 2. Manchester will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 53-40 non-league loss to Clermont Northeastern (Batavia, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-12.

The Rockets (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against Fairfield (Leesburg, OH). The Lions enter the Southern Hills contest with a 17-1 record. In their last contest, Fairfield nudged Hillsboro (Hillsboro, OH), 53-40, in a non-league contest.
