Gananda Central Blue Panthers (Walworth, NY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting North Rose-Wolcott Cougars (Wolcott, NY), 75-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Gananda Central upgrades its record to 13-4 on the season. The Blue Panthers travel to Red Creek (Red Creek, NY) to play the Rams in a Section 5 Wayne challenge on Friday, February 2. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 5-10. Red Creek lost 48-39 in their recent league challenge against Williamson (Williamson, NY)

Next up, the Cougars play the Lyons Lions (Lyons, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 2. North Rose-Wolcott will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 12-1 record after their 77-48 non-league win over East Rochester (East Rochester, NY).
