Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Manor Mustangs (Portsmouth, VA) and the visiting Granby Comets (Norfolk, VA), saw Manor's basketball squad knock off Granby by a count of 68-50.

With the victory, Manor upgrades its record to 6-14 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Maury (Norfolk, VA) to play the Commodores in a Eastern challenge on Friday, February 2. The Commodores come into the challenge with a record of 16-4. Maury won 63-60 in their recent league challenge against Lake Taylor (Norfolk, VA)

Next up, the Comets play the Norcom Greyhounds (Portsmouth, VA) in a Eastern challenge, on Friday, February 2. Granby will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a 7-10 record after their 50-48 league loss to Norview (Norfolk, VA).
