In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Guajome Park Academy Frogs (Vista, CA) basketball squad beat the visiting Health Sciences Surgeons (San Diego, CA), by a count of 48-34.

The Frogs (6-15) will now prepare for their outing against Del Lago Academy (Escondido, CA). The Firebirds go into the Ocean outing with a 16-10 record. In their last outing, Del Lago Academy defeated San Diego Jewish Academy (San Diego, CA), 74-63, in a league outing.

The Surgeons now hold a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Monarch for a Pioneer outing on Thursday, February 1. Health Sciences will clash with a Royals squad coming off a 72-26 league loss to Mountain Empire (Pine Valley, CA). The Royals record now stands at 12-8.
