The Parkers Chapel Trojans basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Gurdon Go-Devils to 34 in the Trojans league triumph on Wednesday.
The Trojans now sport a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Junction City for a 2A Region 8 contest on Friday, February 2. Parkers Chapel will battle a Dragons team coming off a 57-51 league win over Woodlawn (Rison, AR). The Dragons record now stands at 15-5.
The Go-Devils (2-16) will now prepare for their contest against Woodlawn (Rison, AR). The Bears enter the 2A Region 8 contest with a 15-7 record. In their last contest, Woodlawn was routed by Junction City (Junction City, AR), 57-51, in a league contest.
