Park View Patriots (Sterling, VA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Loudoun County Captains (Leesburg, VA), 69-58 in a league bout.

With the win, Park View upgrades its record to 8-11 on the season. The Patriots host John Champe (Aldie, VA) to play the Knights in a Catoctin bout on Thursday, February 1. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 10-9. John Champe won 66-64 in their recent league bout against Woodgrove (Purcellville, VA)

Next up, the Captains play the Broad Run Spartans (Ashburn, VA) in a Catoctin bout, on Thursday, February 1. Loudoun County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-17 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 58-55 non-league loss to Stone Bridge (Ashburn, VA).
