The North Nodaway Mustangs basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt] to 41 in the Mustangs league victory on Wednesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 16-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mound City/Craig for a Highway 275 contest on Friday, February 2. North Nodaway will battle a team coming off a 78-35 non-league loss to Maysville (Maysville, MO). The record now stands at 5-8.
The (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Rock Port (Rock Port, MO). The Blue Jays come into the Highway 275 contest with a 17-5 record. In their last contest, Rock Port was nudged by Platte Valley co-op [South Nodaway/Jefferson] (Barnard, MO), 65-43, in a non-league contest.
