The Pioneer Mustangs basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Westmont Warriors to 35 in the Mustangs league victory on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln for a Blossom Valley - Santa Teresa West contest on Friday, February 2. Pioneer will battle a Lions team coming off a 51-48 league win over Piedmont Hills (San Jose, CA). The Lions record now stands at 11-10.

The Warriors (12-9) will now prepare for their contest against Willow Glen (San Jose, CA). The Rams come into the Blossom Valley - Santa Teresa West contest with a 11-10 record. In their last contest, Willow Glen prevailed over Prospect (Saratoga, CA), 61-45, in a league contest.
