The Powhatan Indians basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Richmond City School of the Arts Bulldogs to 53 in the Indians league triumph on Wednesday.

The Indians now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clover Hill for a Dominion contest on Friday, February 2. Powhatan will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 67-40 league loss to James River Midlothian (Midlothian, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 5-13.

The Bulldogs (1-15) will now prepare for their contest against L.C. Bird (Chesterfield, VA). The Skyhawks enter the Dominion contest with a 15-1 record. In their last contest, L.C. Bird nudged Monacan (Richmond, VA), 67-57, in a league contest.
