California High School Basketball - Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory topped by St. Ignatius College Preparatory

The St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the host Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish to 55 in the Wildcats league victory on Wednesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Saint Francis for a West Catholic contest on Thursday, February 1. St. Ignatius College Preparatory will battle a Lancers team coming off a 66-27 league loss to Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 3-17.

The Fightin' Irish (9-11) will now prepare for their contest against Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA). The Monarchs come into the West Catholic contest with a 15-5 record. In their last contest, Archbishop Mitty prevailed over Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA), 66-27, in a league contest.
