In their next game, the Cardinals face the N.C. School for the Deaf Bears (Morganton, NC) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 1. Virginia School for the Deaf & Blind will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Bears enter the game with a 7-8 record after their 57-15 non-league loss to The Master's Academy (Forest City, NC).

With the defeat, West Virginia School for the Deaf moves to 0-3 on the year.
