West Park Panthers (Roseville, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA), 48-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, West Park upgrades its record to 23-0 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA) to play the Bruins in a bout on Friday, February 2. The Bruins come into the bout with a record of 15-8. Ponderosa won 78-39 in their recent league bout against Oakmont (Roseville, CA)

Next up, the Miners play the Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) in a bout, on Friday, February 2. Nevada Union will attempt to upgrade on its 18-6 season record. The Hillmen come into the bout with a 9-14 record after their 72-50 league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, CA).
