California High School Basketball - Arroyo overwhelms South El Monte

Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Arroyo Knights (El Monte, CA) and the visiting South El Monte Eagles (South El Monte, CA), saw Arroyo's basketball squad wallop South El Monte by a tally of 51-29.

With the victory, Arroyo improves its record to 11-16 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Gabrielino (San Gabriel, CA) to play the Eagles in a Mission Valley challenge on Friday, February 2. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 16-7. Gabrielino won 40-20 in their recent league challenge against Rosemead (Rosemead, CA)

Next up, the Eagles play the El Monte Lions (El Monte, CA) in a Mission Valley challenge, on Friday, February 2. South El Monte will attempt to improve on its 8-15 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 0-17 record after their 54-12 league loss to Marshall (Pasadena, CA).
