The Belding Black Knights basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Comstock Park Panthers to 43 in the Black Knights league triumph on Wednesday.

The Black Knights now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host NorthPointe Christian for a Ottawa-Kent - Silver contest on Friday, February 2. Belding will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 72-23 league win over Godwin Heights (Wyoming, MI). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-2.

The Panthers (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Sparta (Sparta, MI). The Spartans enter the Ottawa-Kent - Blue contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Sparta was defeated by Kent City (Kent City, MI), 47-21, in a non-league contest.
