The Marist RedHawks basketball team (Chicago, IL), was overwhelmed 62-25 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Benet Academy Redwings (Lisle, IL)
The Redwings now possess a 18-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Joliet Catholic for a East Suburban Catholic battle on Saturday, February 3. Benet Academy will battle a Hilltoppers team coming off a 70-20 league loss to Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 5-24.
The RedHawks (9-20) will now prepare for their battle against Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL). The Lions come into the East Suburban Catholic battle with a 6-22 record. In their last battle, Saint Viator trounced Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL), 66-32, in a non-league battle.
