The St. Charles Bulldogs (St. Charles, MI) basketball nipped the visiting Breckenridge Huskies (Breckenridge, MI), 36-33 in Wednesday's league test.

The Bulldogs (11-1) will now prepare for their test against Montabella (Blanchard, MI). The Mustangs go into the Mid-State test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Montabella got by Carson City-Crystal (Carson City, MI), 51-20, in a league test.

The Huskies now own a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Ashley for a Mid-State test on Friday, February 2. Breckenridge will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 45-33 league loss to Vestaburg (Vestaburg, MI). The Bears record now stands at 3-9.
