In Wednesday's league outing, the Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI) basketball squad nipped the host Coventry Oakers (Coventry, RI), by a margin of 52-45.
The Crusaders (5-10) will now prepare for their outing against Smithfield (Esmond, RI). The Sentinels go into the Division 2 outing with a 8-7 record. In their last outing, Smithfield was tipped by West Warwick (West Warwick, RI), 43-33, in a league outing.
The Oakers now own a 8-10 record. They play next when they host Shea for a Division 2 outing on Friday, February 2. Coventry will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 52-28 league win over Prout (Wakefield, RI). The Raiders record now stands at 14-1.
