The Valor Academy tipped the visiting Discovery Warriors basketball team by a final score of 28-23 in Wednesday's league game.

In their next game, the face the Sun Valley Magnet Pioneers (Sun Valley, CA) in a Central Valley game, on Friday, February 2. Valor Academy will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Pioneers enter the game with a 9-6 record after their 85-65 league win over Lake Balboa College Prep (Lake Balboa, CA).

With the defeat, Discovery moves to 1-6 on the year.
