The Palo Alto Vikings basketball team (Palo Alto, CA), was routed 57-30 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Fremont Firebirds (Sunnyvale, CA)
The Firebirds now sport a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lynbrook for a Santa Clara Valley - De Anza battle on Friday, February 2. Fremont will battle a Vikings team coming off a 42-27 league loss to Los Altos (Los Altos, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 14-7.
The Vikings (0-21) will now prepare for their battle against Monta Vista (Cupertino, CA). The Matadors come into the Santa Clara Valley - De Anza battle with a 15-4 record. In their last battle, Monta Vista trounced South San Francisco (South San Francisco, CA), 72-37, in a non-league battle.
