The Meridian Mustangs basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting Gladwin Flying G's to 41 in the Mustangs league triumph on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 12-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shepherd for a Jack Pine contest on Friday, February 2. Meridian will meet a Bluejays team coming off a 46-21 league loss to Clare (Clare, MI). The Bluejays record now stands at 6-7.

The Flying G's (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Clare (Clare, MI). The Pioneers enter the Jack Pine contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, Clare triumphed over Shepherd (Shepherd, MI), 46-21, in a league contest.
