The Green Mountain Chieftains basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the visiting Twin Valley Wildcats to 24 in the Chieftains non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Chieftains now sport a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rivendell Academy for a Southern Vermont contest on Thursday, February 1. Green Mountain will battle a team coming off a 53-41 league loss to White River Valley (Royalton, VT). The record now stands at 4-9.

The Wildcats (0-13) will now prepare for their contest against Arlington Memorial (Arlington, VT). The Eagles come into the Marble Valley - D contest with a 11-1 record. In their last contest, Arlington Memorial prevailed over Long Trail (Dorset, VT), 49-39, in a non-league contest.
