The Hughes BIG RED basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Taft Senators to 32 in the BIG RED league triumph on Wednesday.

The BIG RED now sport a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodward for a Cincinnati Metro - Red contest on Monday, February 5. Hughes will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 55-52 non-league win over Middletown Christian (Franklin, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-6.

The Senators (1-19) will now prepare for their contest against Withrow (Cincinnati, OH). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Withrow ran past Aiken (Cincinnati, OH), 67-46, in a league contest.
