The Pope John XXIII basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting Morristown-Beard Crimson to 31 in the non-league victory on Wednesday.
The now sport a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Delaware Valley for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 3. Pope John XXIII will battle a Terriers team coming off a 50-47 league win over Belvidere (Belvidere, NJ). The Terriers record now stands at 11-6.
The Crimson (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Morris Catholic (Denville, NJ). The Crusaders come into the non-league contest with a 17-0 record. In their last contest, Morris Catholic triumphed over DME Academy (Daytona Beach, FL), 63-61, in a non-league contest.
