Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt] (Burlington Junction, MO) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host North Nodaway Mustangs (Hopkins, MO), 57-25 in a league bout.

With the win, Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt] upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The travel to Rock Port (Rock Port, MO) to play the Blue Jays in a Highway 275 bout on Friday, February 2. The Blue Jays go into the bout with a record of 12-3. Rock Port won 36-34 in their recent non-league bout against Worth County (Grant City, MO)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Mound City Panthers (Mound City, MO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. North Nodaway will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 9-5 record after their 57-42 non-league win over Maysville (Maysville, MO).
