Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - Loomis Chaffee School knocks off Frederick Gunn

The Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans trounced the host Frederick Gunn Highlanders ice hockey squad by a tally of 7-2 in Wednesday's league bout.
With the victory, Loomis Chaffee School betters its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Pelicans host Cushing Academy (Ashburnham, MA) to confront the Penguins in a bout on Friday, February 9. The Penguins go into the bout with a record of 9-12.
The Highlanders now have a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they host Millbrook School for a battle on Wednesday, February 7. Frederick Gunn will play a Mustangs team coming off a 6-1 league win over Greenwich Country Day (Greenwich, CT). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-7.
