Palmer Ridge Bears (Monument, CO) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO), 61-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Palmer Ridge upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Bears host Lutheran (Parker, CO) to play the Lions in a bout on Friday, February 2. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 7-3. Lutheran won 33-9 in their recent league bout against Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO)

Next up, the Thunder play the Air Academy Kadets (US Air Force Academy, CO) in a bout, on Friday, February 2. Discovery Canyon will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
