The crowd at Wednesday's league test between the McLane Highlanders (Fresno, CA) and the host Sanger West Hornets (Fresno, CA), saw McLane's soccer squad get by Sanger West by a margin of 2-1.

The Highlanders now sport a 11-9 record. They play next when they travel to Madera South for a North Yosemite test on Friday, February 2. McLane will meet a Stallions squad coming off a 5-1 league win over Roosevelt (Fresno, CA). The Stallions record now stands at 15-6.

With the loss, Sanger West drops to 2-17 on the season. The Hornets host Hoover (Fresno, CA) to meet the Patriots in a North Yosemite test on Thursday, February 1. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 8-11. Hoover lost 7-0 in their recent league test against Torres (Madera, CA)
