In Wednesday's league challenge, the Fairfield Prep Jesuits (Fairfield, CT) ice hockey team nudged the visiting Xavier Falcons (Middletown, CT), by a margin of 3-2.
The Jesuits now possess a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Notre Dame for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 3. Fairfield Prep will clash with a Green Knights team coming off a 8-0 league win over Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT). The Green Knights record now stands at 7-3.
The Falcons (5-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Moses Brown (Providence, RI). The Quakers enter the non-league challenge with a 3-12 record. In their last challenge, Moses Brown was edged by Burrillville (Harrisville, RI), 6-1, in a league challenge.
