The Aiken Fighting Green Hornets basketball team scored 37 points and restricted the visiting Lexington Wildcats to 31 in the Fighting Green Hornets non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Fighting Green Hornets now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host American Leadership Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 1. Aiken will battle a Patriots team coming off a 45-28 league win over Cardinal Newman (Columbia, SC). The Patriots record now stands at 10-6.
The Wildcats (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against White Knoll (Lexington, SC). The Timberwolves come into the non-league contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, White Knoll edged Dutch Fork (Irmo, SC), 54-38, in a non-league contest.
