Maryland High School Basketball - North Point tops Chopticon

Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the North Point Eagles (Waldorf, MD) and the host Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD), saw North Point's basketball squad achieve victory over Chopticon by a tally of 46-38.

The Eagles now possess a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Leonardtown for a non-league battle on Friday, February 2. North Point will confront a Raiders team coming off a 55-15 non-league win over Model Secondary School for the Deaf (Washington, DC). The Raiders record now stands at 9-5.

The Braves (11-2) will now prepare for their battle against Lackey (Indian Head, MD). The Chargers come into the non-league battle with a 2-9 record.
