Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Leigh Longhorns (San Jose, CA) and the visiting Christopher Cougars (Gilroy, CA), saw Leigh's basketball squad knock off Christopher by a tally of 68-58.

With the victory, Leigh improves its record to 17-2 on the campaign. The Longhorns host Independence (San Jose, CA) to play the 76ers in a challenge on Friday, February 2. The 76ers come into the challenge with a record of 1-8. Independence lost 61-45 in their recent league challenge against Evergreen Valley (San Jose, CA)

Next up, the Cougars play the Menlo School Knights (Atherton, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 3. Christopher will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record.
