Jefferson City Jays (Jefferson City, MO) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lebanon Yellowjackets (Lebanon, MO), 73-50 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Jefferson City upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign.

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Rolla Bulldogs (Rolla, MO) in a bout, on Friday, February 2. Lebanon will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record.
