Rappahannock Raiders (Warsaw, VA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Westmoreland Eagles (Montross, VA), 49-29 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Rappahannock upgrades its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Lancaster (Lancaster, VA) to play the Red Devils in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Red Devils come into the bout with a record of 5-3. Lancaster lost 34-28 in their recent non-league bout against Westmoreland (Montross, VA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Northumberland Indians (Heathsville, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Westmoreland will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 37-27 non-league win over Essex (Tappahannock, VA).
