The Westbrook-Walnut Grove Chargers basketball team scored 79 points and limited the visiting Adrian/Ellsworth Dragons to 50 in the Chargers league triumph on Friday.

The Chargers now have a 15-6 record. They play next when they host Hills-Beaver Creek for a A Section 3 game on Thursday, February 6. Westbrook-Walnut Grove will confront a Patriots team coming off a 70-68 league win over Murray County Central (Slayton, MN). The Patriots record now stands at 18-2.

With the loss, Adrian/Ellsworth falls to 8-12 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Luverne (Luverne, MN) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league game on Monday, February 3. The Cardinals go into the game with a record of 12-7. Luverne won 85-54 in their recent non-league game against Southwest Minnesota Christian (Edgerton, MN)
