The Albemarle Patriots defeated the visiting Orange County Fighting Hornets basketball squad by a final score of 62-54 in Friday's league outing.
Next, the Patriots clash with the L.C. Bird Skyhawks (Chesterfield, VA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, February 1. Albemarle will attempt to upgrade on its 17-3 season record. The Skyhawks come into the outing with a 11-2 record after their 76-34 league win over Richmond City School of the Arts (Richmond, VA).
The Fighting Hornets (10-9) will now prepare for their outing against Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA). The Warriors come into the Jefferson outing with a 14-4 record.
