In Friday's league contest, the visiting Shady Side Academy Bulldogs basketball team scored a big 60-35 triumph over the Apollo Ridge Vikings.

The Bulldogs (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Steel Valley (Munhall, PA). The Ironmen go into the WPIAL 3A 3 contest with a 3-11 record.

In their next game, the Vikings confront the South Park Eagles (South Park, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 3 contest, on Friday, February 7. Apollo Ridge will attempt to better on its 3-10 season record.
