Ohio High School Basketball - Cuyahoga Falls holds off Barberton

January 31, 2025: Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221

The Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Barberton Magics to 59 in the Black Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Black Tigers now have a 8-10 record. They play next when they host Roosevelt for a Suburban - American game on Tuesday, February 4. Cuyahoga Falls will confront a Rough Riders team coming off a 57-53 league loss to Revere (Richfield, OH). The Rough Riders record now stands at 4-13.

With the loss, Barberton falls to 9-8 on the campaign. The Magics host Olentangy (Lewis Center, OH) to confront the Braves in a non-league game on Sunday, February 2. The Braves go into the game with a record of 10-7. Olentangy lost 55-51 in their recent league game against Marysville (Marysville, OH)
