The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Colo-NESCO Royals (Colo, IA) and the host BCLUW Comets (Conrad, IA), observed Colo-NESCO's basketball team knock off BCLUW by a score of 59-41.

The Royals (13-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Colfax-Mingo (Colfax, IA). The Tigerhawks come into the non-league challenge with a 2-16 record. In their last challenge, Colfax-Mingo was knocked off by Montezuma (Montezuma, IA), 86-41, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Comets encounter the North Tama Redhawks (Traer, IA) in a Iowa Star challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. BCLUW will attempt to improve on its 2-16 season record.
