Arizona High School Basketball - Payson overwhelmed by Benjamin Franklin

In Friday's league test, the Benjamin Franklin Chargers (Queen Creek, AZ) basketball squad trounced the visiting Payson Longhorns (Payson, AZ), by a score of 70-33.

Next, the Chargers clash with the ALA - Ironwood Warriors (Ironwood, AZ) in a 3A Metro test, on Tuesday, February 4. Benjamin Franklin will attempt to improve on its 23-3 season record. The Warriors come into the test with a 16-7 record after their 62-44 league win over Bourgade Catholic (Phoenix, AZ).

The Longhorns (9-16) will now prepare for their test against Northwest Christian (Phoenix, AZ). The Crusaders come into the 3A Metro test with a 7-11 record. In their last test, Northwest Christian was routed by Gilbert Christian (Gilbert, AZ), 57-33, in a league test.
