The Berean Academy Warriors (Elbing, KS) basketball edged the host Elyria Christian (McPherson, KS), 50-48 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Warriors now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Moundridge for a Heart of America bout on Tuesday, February 4. Berean Academy will play a Wildcats team coming off a 49-41 non-league win over Garden Plain (Garden Plain, KS). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-0.

With the loss, Elyria Christian falls to 8-4 on the campaign. The travel to Wakefield (Wakefield, KS) to play the Bombers in a Wheat State bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Bombers go into the bout with a record of 1-11. Wakefield lost 78-16 in their recent non-league bout against Blue Valley (Randolph, KS)
