Texas High School Basketball - Hawkins fells Big Sandy

The Hawkins Hawks basketball team scored 76 points and limited the host Big Sandy Wildcats to 57 in the Hawks league triumph on Friday.

The Hawks now possess a 26-2 record. They play next when they host Linden-Kildare for a 2A Region III District 21 game on Tuesday, February 4. Hawkins will confront a Tigers team coming off a 80-28 league loss to Union Grove (Gladewater, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 1-21.

With the loss, Big Sandy falls to 10-16 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Harleton (Harleton, TX) to confront the Wildcats in a 2A Region III District 21 contest on Tuesday, February 4. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 8-21. Harleton lost 86-21 in their recent league contest against Hawkins (Hawkins, TX)
